Competition Fabrication

Curt has been riding motorcycles his whole life. Starting out on the usual mini bike soon lead to a YZ 80, then a 125 and so on. Being raised around a fab shop that his dad owned also saw him modifying everything whether it needed it or not.

Over the years he honed his skills to the point where he was building custom frames and related parts that made there way onto the Discovery channels Biker Build off series. Being an active player in the custom Harley world, Curt built many customs, mostly with performance in mind but still utilizing the American V-Twin power plant. While all that was going on he also built and modified dirt bikes. Swapping engines, lengthening swing arms and building frames, mostly for his own enjoyment. After entering a few local events, word got out that he was building some serious machines and the work started to roll in. The company Big Twin Racers was started in 2003 and at that time all the work was focused on sport bike Harley's utilizing the Big Twin engine.

The company name has now evolved to BTRmoto, and much of the work is focused on hill climb bikes and building the ever popular aluminum framed CR 500's.
